Celebration Weekends

Looking for a memorable way of celebrating a special family occasion such as a birthday, retirement, or a wedding anniversary?  Why not come to Balmashie for a weekend visit where you can surround yourself with family and friends in a relaxing and peaceful rural atmosphere?  We can offer up to 10 cottages for guests so that each individual family in the group can enjoy their own living space and privacy, and the whole group can come together in one cottage for communal aperitifs, meals, and old-fashioned family games. We have a comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to 48 people.  Special economic rates in the off-peak season, ie October to March.

The Fairmont St Andrews, Devlin and Torrance Courses are just over the fence for the golfers in the group, while St Andrews itself offers more golf and good shopping.  The East Neuk of Fife has several picturesque old fishing villages to visit.  There are pleasant woodland walks around, and children can enjoy our playground and football pitch.  The Fife Coastal Path offers a beautiful nine-mile walk, with three joining and drop-off points, from Crail Harbour back to Balmashie, including a picnic stop at the award-winning Cambo Beach near Kingsbarns, and that can be topped off with dinner out at the new St Andrews Bay Hotel.
